Our team came up through self-funded health benefits and hospitality: roughly five years on the benefits side and a decade in hotels and travel between us. We kept watching the same gap: when a plan member had to travel for a procedure, the coordinator booking it had only consumer sites like Priceline or Expedia. They work for a vacation. They were never built for a post-op member, for the caregiver managing the stay, or for the team that needs a clean, claim-ready record tied to the authorization.
So we started a company to close it: the same hotel-funded booking model that makes consumer travel free to use, redesigned from the ground up for member medical travel, with walking distance to the facility, six branded member touchpoints, and a claim-ready record at the center. It costs you nothing.
Carepassage is for the organizations that arrange member travel: third-party administrators, care-navigation companies, Centers of Excellence programs, self-insured employers, and hospital patient-access teams. A coordinator books the member's hotel near the facility, or issues the member a travel voucher to self-book within the benefit. Members never sign up or book from the public site.
